Spaces are an integral part of human interaction. The relationships we form, our outlook towards things defined by space around us. Looking at different spaces and furniture made me realize how design plays a crucial role in our lives to make our surroundings look appealing and beautiful. Careful modulations of volume, light, texture, and sound can stimulate various perceptual and emotional experiences.

 

Understanding the process is an integral part of design learning. I believe that the process is more important than the outcome. For instance, the interiors of a house should cater to more than eating, sitting, and sleeping. It should tell us the story of the people who live there. I feel an ideal house is something which inspires you to do more and reflects the personality of people living there.
